Please allow me a moment to introduce myself and my passion for the landscape and turf business. It began in the early 70's while working in the yard with my father and listening to Neil Sperry. From there I started mowing lawns during the summer where my enthusiasm for the great outdoors and plant life took off. While attending college pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree, I took a number of courses in landscape design, drafting, horticulture, and woody plant material. Currently, I continue to pursue my education attending seminars at the Dallas Arboretum, the Texas A&M research and extension center in north Dallas, and local nurseries. I believe it is important to be up to date on the latest plant material offered, best irrigation methods, and soil preparation methods. I am currently a member of the Earth Kind Environmental Landscape management program hosted by Dr. Steve George who serves as the landscape horticulture specialist for the Texas Agrilife Extension Service headquartered at the Texas A&M Research and Extension center of North Dallas.
The purpose of my business is to continue to set the standard for quality and customer service and developing custom programs tailored to your individual needs to develop well designed landscapes for your pleasure, enhance your property and add value to your neighborhood. All in all, landscape design and turf maintenance involves much more than placing trees, shrubs, and turf on the property. It is an art requiring conscious arrangement and organization of outdoor space for human satisfaction and enjoyment.
